(Gary Russell Wertz) GRW "GREEN LIGHTS" feat. Junior Toots

Within the first few seconds of listening to this song by Gary Russell Wertz (GRW), I thought, 'Crap, I'm not qualified to review country music' But then the song just got better and more relatable. This is one of the more promising submissions I've recieved. I'm genuinely impressed. I was expecting it to be hokey and twangy but as the music progresses it morphs into a total reggae country fusion jam and it's all positivity. After reading GRW's bio I realized where he was coming from in his music production and style. This guy was a New York Punk Rock kid that played his first gig at the legendary CBGB at the age of 14! This song has left me absolutely no room for a negative review. The visuals are great, the lyrics are great, the production is great and it's catchy as hell. This is a hit. I'm so glad I woke up this morning with this song in my emails waiting to be reviewed. Kahlil Nash Featuring Johaz and Tony Da Skitzo - I Can't Breathe

This submission comes from Kahlil Nash Featuring Johaz and Tony Da Skitzo and is Entitled: "I Can't Breath". It's a timely protest song that speaks on social isolation, police brutality and living in modern America from a Black man's perspective. The song is catchy and well-produced. Nash's androgynous voice and looks give the song a 1980's vibe to the video. The message of the song is topical and powerful, whether or not the song will have any staying power after the news cycle moves on from George Floyd protests is to be seen but overall I think this is a fine example of how the pen can be mightier than the sword when it comes to addressing the misjustice and ills of society. Doc Jazz- Twenty Twenty

This submission comes to us from the artist Doc Jazz and the video concept is very cool a miniature dancer appears from inside of a delivery and dances all throughout the length of the video to the song 'Twenty Twenty', an uptempo modern Jazz song with a catchy Saxophone riff that will stay stuck in your head all day. This is just a cool video with a cool concept. I like it, great submission, great video, great song. Doc Jazz- Twenty Twenty, check it out.

SENOR DOLOR - kurzajivite

Yeah, i honestly don't even know what to say about this submission from Senor Dolor. I've never heard or seen anything like this. If anything he just created a whole new genre with this. If I were to give the genre a name, I'd call it "gutteral" almost like Mongolian throat singing and a demonic exorcism of some sort. I think this guy is from somewhere in East Europe from the sound of the language and name. There's no real melody in this music it's more of just an overall dark energy. I can't say it's bad. I think this has massive potential.

Pivotal Awakening - Soulblind

This is what Christian music should sound like. It's not preachy or luke warm. It has soul and a meaning in the lyrics, it's a testimony. Listening to this I could actually enjoy this on a personal level and it doesn't hurt that the woman singing is pretty easy to look at either. This is a hit.
